Easy Nature Walks

Hello, my name is Dinara and I’m a passionate hiker who has been exploring the stunning mountains of Hemsedal for over a decade.
Over time—especially with kids, lots of visiting friends and family—I felt the wish to share my hiking passion with others. After a serious skiing accident in 2024 with several months on crutches, I had to return to the mountains softly. That’s when I discovered—and grew to love—the easy to moderate hikes tucked between Hemsedal’s high peaks. Not everyone enjoys or has the ability to go on steep or technical hikes, and that’s perfectly fine.
From well-known peaks to hidden valleys, I know the trails and I love sharing them with others.
With a background in the tourism industry and certified in wilderness first aid, your safety and enjoyment are my top priorities.
My Passion
The mountains have always been my place to clear my head and reconnect. I’m deeply drawn to untouched nature—the silence, the raw beauty, and the feeling of being fully present. Being able to share that experience with others, and guide them into places where they can feel it too, is what I care about most.
Explore
As a hiking guide, I specialize in easy and relaxed nature experiences that bring people closer to the landscape without requiring hiking experience or high fitness levels.
I believe the best way to experience Hemsedal is slowly—listening, observing, and learning about the nature around you.
FAQs
What happens if the weather is bad? Mountain weather in Hemsedal can change quickly. Safety is always my top priority. If conditions are not suitable (heavy rain, strong wind, or unsafe terrain), I will adjust the route to a more sheltered area or reschedule the tour if needed. I always aim to provide a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of weather.
What difficulty level are the Hemsedal hiking tours? The tours are designed to be easy to moderate. This includes: Easy nature walks on flat or gentle terrain Relaxed mountain hikes with up to approx. 200 meters ascent A comfortable pace adapted to the group No previous hiking experience is required.
Can I bring my dog? It depends on the tour. Some of the routes pass through areas with sensitive wildlife or livestock, where dogs are not suitable. For these tours, I may recommend leaving dogs at home for safety and nature protection reasons. However, I also have dog-friendly options, and I am happy to help you choose a suitable hike where dogs are welcome. Please let me know in advance if you would like to bring your dog, and I will find the best option for you and your four-legged companion.
What is the group size? Individuals Families Small groups Larger private groups (on request) Tours are always kept personal and flexible.
Is transportation available? I can offer transportation for small groups of up to 4 people upon request and a small additional cost. This is ideal for reaching hidden nature spots without needing your own car. Transportation must be arranged in advance when booking.
What should I bring? I recommend bringing: Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots Weather-appropriate clothing (layered is best) Waterproof jacket Water bottle Small snacks Sunscreen and sunglasses (summer) Hat and gloves (cooler months) Mountain weather can change quickly, so dressing in layers is important.
How long are the tours? Tour length depends on the experience: Easy nature walks: 1.5–3 hours Relaxed mountain hikes: 2–4 hours Family tours: 2–3 hours Private tours: flexible We always walk at a relaxed pace with breaks.
